Vintage German Beer Stein Mug 1L Franz Stober Muller Floss Bavarian Crest Flags

Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic vintage 1 Liter German stoneware beer mug with the Bavarian Coat of Arms graphic flanked by traditional festive flags and a laurel garland.  The open-top tankard features the classic salt-glazed grey finish popular in traditional German taverns.  This piece features a dual-manufacturer profile showcasing a corss-regional craft partnership from postwar West Germany.  The mold mark shows the 1L capacity and the FS denotes the premium clay body was produced by stoneware maker Franz Stober in Hohr-Grenzhausen.  The base stamp shows that the mug was decorated in a porcelain house in Floss, Bavaria which applied the final artwork and glaze.
